Ingredients
500g Brussels sprouts, trimmed, outer leaves removed and bottoms crossed
125g smoked streaky bacon, chopped
15g salted butter
125g cooked chestnuts, broken up a little
salt & pepper
fresh parsley, chopped
Method
Cook the sprouts in a saucepan of salted boiling water for 5-8 mins, until al dente.
Cook the bacon in the butter.
Strain the sprouts and add, with the chestnuts, to the bacon.
Season and stir in the parsley.
