HORL® 3 Knife Sharpener

Description

Here at The Avenue Cookery School, we know how important it is to keep your knives razor sharp – after all, a sharp knife makes cooking safer, easier, and far more enjoyable. That’s why we only recommend the best tools to care for your blades, and the HORL® 3 Knife Sharpener is our go-to.

With two sharpening angles to choose from, this clever sharpener can breathe new life into everything from your trusty chef’s knife to your pocket knife. Made from ocean-bound plastic, with a soft sandy colour inspired by the coast, it not only looks great in your kitchen but also helps tackle plastic waste,  a tool you can feel good about using every day.

Thoughtful Design & Sustainable Materials

Working with their Swiss partner #tide®, HORL® repurposes plastic collected from beaches and coastlines (up to 50 km inland) and processes it into durable granulate. From there, each HORL® 3 Cruise is crafted in Germany’s Black Forest, giving this valuable material a whole new purpose.

Precision Sharpening Made Simple

  • Diamond Disc for Fast Results – The pre-installed diamond disc uses ultra-durable block diamonds to quickly sharpen knives of any hardness, delivering a clean, even edge.

  • Stainless Steel Honing Disc – Once sharpened, the stainless steel disc smooths the edge and removes any grinding dust thanks to its integrated grooves.

  • Block Diamond Upgrade – Compared to the HORL® 2, this version removes up to 80% more steel, speeding up the sharpening process and creating a more consistent finish.

Two Angles for Every Knife

  • 20° Grinding Angle – Perfect for robust, everyday sharpness on European chef’s knives, outdoor knives, and pocket knives.

  • 15° Grinding Angle – Designed for delicate, high-quality blades like carbon or Damascus steel, this angle produces an ultra-fine edge that showcases the true precision of your knife.

Secure & Reliable

With an upgraded Grip Pad that provides 70% more hold than the HORL® 2, the HORL® 3 makes sure your knives stay firmly in place – even the smallest blades.
